The Technological Education and Skills Development Authority or TESDA, a government branch which enables students to undergo professional training for them to land the jobs available.
TESDA offers different institutes and in this article, you will be informed about one of TESDA’s most fruitful and professional yielding institutes – the Language Skills Institute.
TESDA offers these courses in the field of Language Skills:
English Proficiency for Customer Service Workers – course duration is 100 hours
Basic Mandarin Chinese Language and Culture – course duration is 100 hours
Basic Arabic Language and Saudi/Gulf Culturea – course duration is 100 hours
Basic Spanish Language for Different Vocations – course duration is 100 hours
Basic Japanese Language and Culture – course duration is 150 hours
In order to see if you are qualified to take this course, you have to pass certain requirements to cope with what the government asks. The required documents you shall pass are:
Original copy of NSO – authorized birth certificate or Marriage certificate
Three (3) 1 x 1” and one (1) 2 x 2” ID pictures with white background
ANY of the following (Original and photocopy)
Transcript of Records
College or Highschool Diploma
Training Certificate from TESDA registered program
National Certificate or Certificate of Competency issued by TESDA
Trainees or future students who will undergo the program should be:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Male or Female
Filipino
At least High School Graduate
Remember that enrollment is on a first come first serve basis and all language courses are FREE OF CHARGE and is offered to the public. Just submit the said requirements.
