No GPS Signal found in Pokemon Go


The brand new high-tech game, Pokemon Go, has been in and about since it was first released here in our country. A lot of Filipinos of all ages anticipated and patiently waited for the game to be released and now, it is on the palm of their hands. A lot of users however, complain of an error that they see when they try to access the game. An error that says “No GPS Signal Found,” is most likely to be seen by some who yearns to play the game. In this article, we will be guiding you on some strategies on how you can fix that issue.


Before anything else, the game connects with GPS so in some instances where you won’t have reception, the message might show because your device is not able to pick up the necessary reception to provide you with the GPS but if that is not the case, then here are a couple of fixes you can try:

Turn off the mock locations in developer mode

If by any chance you are not aware of the developer mode in your android device, then you are most certainly missing out a lot. Folks have been using this mode in order to enhance their experience and this mode might even get you out of your problem in Pokemon Go.

To have access to the developer mode, go to Settings > More and from there, select the About Device option. Scroll down a few times until you see the Build Number. Clicking the Build Number a few times will let you enable the developer mode.


From the More section of your Settings, go to the Developer Options and disable the “Allow Mock Options” setting.
