The DOST-SEI scholarship is designed to support future Filipino scientists and engineers by providing financial assistance to students pursuing four- or five-year undergraduate degrees in priority STEM fields. This scholarship is divided into two categories:
RA 7687 Scholarship – for economically disadvantaged students with high aptitude in STEM.
Merit Scholarship – open to students regardless of financial background but based on academic merit.

DOST Scholarship Benefits
Monthly Living Allowance: ₱8,000
Tuition and Other Fees: Up to ₱40,000 per year
Book Allowance: ₱10,000 per year
Clothing Allowance: ₱1,000 (first semester of the first year)
Thesis Allowance: ₱10,000
Health and Accident Insurance: Covered for the duration of the program
Transportation Allowance: One roundtrip fare per year (for students studying away from home)
Summer Allowance: Tuition (up to ₱1,500), book allowance (₱500), and monthly stipend for two months
