The economic policies of the government, which are known as “Dutertenomics ,” have a 10-point socioeconomic agenda. Primarily, its aim is to reduce poverty from 21.6% in 2015 to 13 – 15% by 2022. Furthermore, officials added that the economic policies were supportive of the broader 10-point reform strategy of the president.
To cut you some slack, here are the plans; the infrastructure ideas and projects in the whole of the Philippines. Yes, the following projects will be for Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao .
Unified Common Station This 13, 700 square mater station will benefit tons of Filipinos. Its reaches connect three railways for ease and efficiency of passengers. Passenger transfer and interconnectivity would serve as much as 478, 000 passengers every single day when it finishes in the year 2019; fully operational at 2020.

Furthermore, the government is expecting that around 370, 000 passengers will benefit from this subway.

Bicol International Airport Development Project This new project’s aim is to execute a new airport that hails international standards. The target location of this new project is in Daraga, Albay; it replaces current Legaspi airport to service larger and bigger aircraft. The number of passengers is growing; the government would need to improve their means of transportation in this case. Moreover, this would enhance safety and efficiency standards of air transportation in the region.

Tagum-Davao City Digos (TDD) Segment The size of this project is around 105 kilometers of the larger 803 kilometer Mindanao Railway network. Furthermore, this will connect major seaports, economic zones, major cities; it’ll allow faster and easier transportation for passengers and freight. The government expects this project will serve as many as 100, 000 passengers when it opens.

NLEX-SLEX Connector Road The PPP Project involves the construction and operation and maintenance (O & M) of an 8 km., 4-lane elevated expressway over the Philippine National Railway (PNR). It starts from the C3 Road in Caloocan through Manila crossing Espana towards PUP Sta. Mesa connecting Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 (MMSS3). Thus, once finished, the NLEX-SLEX Connector road is expected to decongest the infamous traffic in Metro Manila. How? By providing an alternative to C-5 Road, Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA), and other major through fares. Moreover, it cuts the travel time between NLEX and SLEX to 15 minutes; today, it takes more than an hour.

Monica-Lawton Bridge involves the construction of a 4-lane bridge across Pasig River and a 4-lane viaduct structure traversing Lawton Avenue onwards the entrance of Bonifacio Global City And the amp before Kalayaan Avenue in Makati. The total length of the Projects is 961.427 l.m . Imagine the cut time once the government completes this. Furthermore, it can be beneficial in terms of giving people access to different parts of Taguig and Pasig without breaking a sweat.

NAIA Expressway Phase II Photo: build.gov.ph Just like the fist two project, this one is a 4-lane, 7.75 km elevated expressway and 2.22 km at grade feeder road that will provide access to NAIA Terminals I, II, and III. In addition, it will link the Skyway and the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway . It starts at the existing Skyway ten; it follows the existing road alignments over Sales Avenue, Andrews Avenue, Domestic Road, and NAIA Road, and has entry/exit ramps at Roxas Boulevard, Macapagal Boulevard, and PAGCOR City. The PPP Project involves construction of Phase II, construction of at-grade feeder roads lending to/from PAGCOR Entertainment City; and Operation and maintenance of the expressway.

Mandaluyong Main Drainage Project (MMDP), Phase II The Phase II-Drainage Improvement Works at San Francisco Segment (Sta. 0+000 Sta. 0+651.96) and Pumping System of the MMDP, (Double Barrel Box Culvert, Length = 659.96 linear meters, Total Width = 8.35 meters). This drainage will not only improve the maintenance of flowing waters, it can also reduce or even eliminate flooding in some parts of Metro Manila.

NLEX Harbor Link, Segment 10 This project is a 5.58-km. 6-lane divided (2×3) elevated expressway connecting McArthur Highway and C-3. Its function is it will utilize the existing PNR railroad tracks that cuts across Valenzuela City and Malabon City. In addition, it will decongest Metro Manila by providing access to NLEX without passing through EDSA or the Balintawak Toll Plaza and Improve movement of cargo between NLEX and Radial Road 10. It will reduce travel time from Valenzuela City to C-3 Caloocan City from more than 1 hour to just 5 minutes and will benefit 20,000 motorists per day.

The project will have interchanges in 8 locations namely: Kawit , Open Canal , Governor’s Drive, Aguinaldo Highway, Slang Est., Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road, Laguna Blvd., and Technopark .

Central Luzon Link Expressway This project is a 30 km – four-lane expressway from Tarlac City to Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. It will reduce travel time between Tarlac City and Cabanatuan City from 70 minutes to 20 minutes. Moreover, it is expected to decongest traffic by about 48% passing thru Daang Maharlika.

Laguna Lake Highway Photo taken from build.gov.ph The Laguna Lake Highway improvement is already in its momentum; wherein the widening/rehabilitation at Taytay Rizal Segment, a 3.34 kilometer road, was completed under the supervision of DPWH, National Capital Region (NCR). While the rest of the development in the Rizal are is being implemented by Region IV-A. Currently, these two bridge projects being implemented also by NCR particularly construction/ widening of Barkadahan Bridge (252 l.m.) and Naindan Bridge (450 l.m. including bridge approach) which will provide additional 2 lanes crossing over Manggahan Floodway and Pasig River, respectively.
