The inaugural “Jobs on the Rise” report from LinkedIn points to an increase in demand for educators, professionals, and creatives in 2021. This is as the infamous COVID-19 dares to change the tide of the world’s employment landscape.

To be certain, the study also notes continued demand for technical specialists, such as engineers and data analysts, as a special edition of the annual emerging job report of the site.
Feon Ang of LinkedIn, Asia-Pacific Vice President of Talent and Learning Solutions, said the finding indicates a shift in a direction this year.
These trends have emerged in direct relation to the global pandemic.”
The skilled networking site tracked the growth in listings for more than 15,000 job titles for its report to recognize those that increased the most compared to the previous year in 2020.
These titles were then categorized into 15 big career patterns, including the U.S., for different markets globally.

Are Medical Positions Part of the Quickest Growing Jobs?
Ang highlighted, in particular, the emergence of medical positions. These include not the only job for frontline medical personnel such as nurses and physicians, but also for specialists in mental health, physiological health, as well as and social workers.
Elsewhere, the rapid pace of digitalization has opened up new positions in e-commerce and the supply chain, such as the move to online shopping due to lockdowns.
