Where to find Cheap Hotel near Manila Airport or NAIA

Are you an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) returning to the Philippines “Balalikbayan”, or a Tourist that wants to enjoy the Philippines for a vacation and your destination is not in Metro Manila or the neighboring provinces, also your flight is on the next day, you need a place to rest but hotel near in NAIA airport is very expensive. I will find a solution for you, since almost all the hotel near in the airport are expensive, we will find a little far from there but you can save money.

If you are a Filipino I’m sure you know  Sogo Hotel, this hotel has a low rate compare to other hotel operating near to the airport, but how you can go there without spending big money for non registered airport taxi that are waiting for their next victim outside? You can find registered airport taxi inside the airport, read this post “How to find registered airport taxi in Manila“. After you found the registered taxi, just tell the driver to bring you to the nearest Sogo hotel, I think the near Sogo in airport located in Pasay, see the map below, you will pay the taxi for around 300 Pesos more or less.

If you are taking your destination by land, there are so many bus terminals in Pasay, if you are going north (e.g. Baguio, Ilocos, Tuguegarao, Pangasinan) you can find the Victory Liner Pasay terminal one block from Sogo Hotel, you just need to cross the EDSA. There is also hotel inside the Victory Liner Terminal name Gran Prix Hotel, if you don’t want hassle after you check out you can choose this hotel, just tell the taxi drivers to drop you in Victory Liner Pasay Terminal the fare is almost the same.

Gran Prix a little bit expensive than the Sogo but the room is good and it’s inside the terminal you don’t need to pay again to taxi after you check out. Going south (e.g. Bicol region) there is also DLTB, Philtranco terminal near the hotel, just in front of victory liner Pasay terminal.
